Have you ever felt emotionally breaking down for absolutely no reason other than a song, a song that you may have heard may times in the past without that extreme reaction? I didn’t even have this reaction on watching DEH live or when Hugh Jackman performed it so wonderfully.

The song somehow found it’s way into one of my spotify playlists (I blame the Dear Evan Hansen and Hamilton obsessed 13yo) and before I knew it, I had tears streaming down my face on the first listen this time around.

That should’ve been enough but I’m playing the darn song on repeat and alternating with screaming at the top of my voice (or as loud as I can scream while being silent at work) or wiping away the sudden dustyness. And I just cannot stop playing it, over and over and over …

It is such a beautiful reminder that we are not alone no matter how much it seems that way.
