It’s only a Hill. Get over it!

A brutal run at Buckhead that has left me wondering if I’m a “flat road” runner. The hills were relentless and steep. No amount of repeating “hills make you stronger” made things any easier for me. By the end, with another mile to go, I decided to call it a run. We’d passed by my car 3 times by then and it was just easier to quit. Not my greatest moment because apart from hamstring soreness from hills, I was physcially fine; it was my mental game that gave up.

Turns out that I’m not as mentally strong as I thought I was.
